How to win the weapon ladder
GunGame.party rewards teams that trade efficiently. Hold two angles, let the first player create contact and let the second player finish the kill. A solo frag is useful; a coordinated trade is what turns a level into momentum.
Grenadier tactics
The Grenadier is strongest when the team moves behind the explosion. Use HE to clear a corner, force a defender to retreat and take the space immediately. Against one, spread out, call the position and focus fire after the throw. Killing the Grenadier removes the temporary comeback bonus.
Grenadier signals and spawn protection
A live Grenadier is easy to identify: their scoreboard name carries the HE marker and their model has a team-colored glow shell — blue for CT, red for T. The glow is a warning for opponents and a rally point for teammates. Focus the player together, or use the opening they create to push the next level.
Every deathmatch respawn also gives 3.0 seconds of full spawn protection. Bullets, knives and HE radius damage are blocked during this window. A countdown HUD and ring effect show when the shield is active.
Use those three seconds to move out of spawn, read the nearest route, prepare a crossfire or regroup with your team. Protection is a repositioning tool: it ends automatically, cannot be carried through death and does not justify camping in the spawn. Once the timer reaches zero, normal damage applies immediately.
Exact Grenadier balance rules
The default activation streak is 3 enemy kills, but the threshold adapts to the level gap. A team that is one or more levels behind can trigger the role after 2 kills; a tied team uses 3 kills; a team two levels ahead requires 4; and a team three or more levels ahead requires 5. Only enemy kills count toward the streak — team kills never qualify.
The role starts at 1000 HP. Each enemy kill while Grenadier adds 10 HP, capped at 1000, so the bonus restores a damaged Grenadier back toward full health. Grenadier kills with HE add progress: four grenade frags grant one shared team point. Killing an enemy Grenadier is worth two team points and restores the killer to 100 HP with full vest and helmet. Grenadiers do not receive that special reward for killing another Grenadier.
Friendly fire is normally blocked. While a Grenadier is active, a real HE grenade may damage teammates: a team‑kill costs the Grenadier 100 HP (and can kill them) and removes one point from their pending four‑frag grenade progress. Normal weapons still cannot damage teammates. Grenadier HE progress cannot push the team through the final knife level.
The Grenadier is marked in the scoreboard with HE and a team glow: red for Terrorists, blue for Counter‑Terrorists. The glow is an intentional balance signal — it makes the comeback threat visible to both sides. The role ends on death or a configured reset; the next life is normal unless the trigger happens again.
Exact spawn protection rules
Deathmatch respawns use a default 3.0‑second protection window. During it, all incoming damage is blocked, including bullets, knives and HE radius damage. A team‑colored ring and countdown HUD show the active shield. The timer starts after the final spawn position is placed, is cleared by death and cannot be carried into another life.
Use the shield to leave spawn, check the nearest route, set an angle or regroup. It is a movement and positioning window, not permission to sit in spawn or take free damage. The moment the countdown reaches zero, normal damage and team rules apply.
Knife Steal: the fastest swing
With Knife Steal enabled, an enemy knife kill transfers 3 points to the killer team and removes 3 from the victim team. Knifing an opponent who is on the HE grenade level transfers 6 points. The rule applies outside warmup and only between opponents. Use it to punish an exposed leader, but remember that the final win still requires the valid knife objective.
Winning the knife finish
Save the final push for a coordinated entry. One player creates the duel, teammates block rotations and everyone protects the finisher. The last kill is an objective for the whole team.

Watch the live dashboard for level progress, deaths and active Grenadiers. If your team is ahead, deny routes and trade safely. If behind, regroup after respawn and turn every Grenadier opening into objective progress.
